Here’s a bit about me . . .

★ WHAT I LOVE TO DO!  Business owners are some of the most amazing people on the planet and I am passionate about seeing their businesses GROW. That’s why I am constantly reading, researching and attending classes to learn new, actionable techniques that promote business growth and success. To see a plan take shape and a business thrive is a thing of beauty!

After a successful career in corporate America, complete with great experiences, successes, and scores of close friends, I am now leveraging what I have learned to resolve challenges and overcome obstacles for growing businesses like yours!

Over the years, I have developed the savvy to identify challenges, develop action steps, and manage corporate projects. How? By generating ideas and systems, developing teams that take care of the repetitive tasks, and filling that sales funnel. I understand the challenges faced by large enterprises, right on down to one-man shops (I’ve been an entrepreneur too!)

I know how to sell, negotiate, find answers, and make good things happen:

★ HOW I GOT FROM THERE TO HERE. OK, at this point you might want to get an idea of the range of my experience.  Here’s a quick visual of my résumé:

Some of these positions were longer and some shorter.  The average length was about 3 1/2 years, the longest was 13 years, and the shortest was 9 months.  One of the great advantages to having this breadth of industry exposure and education is that it provides a wealth of experience and perspective to draw from, a quality many of my clients have come to appreciate.

★ MY CORE VALUES include being dependable, consistent, wildly energetic, professional, and a world class communicator!  I believe that integrity and transparency are essential to any sustainable business relationship. I am committed to staying up to date on geopolitical events and how they affect local and international business.

One of my primary areas of focus is ROI, and as such I have to create more value for my clients than I cost. Through a combination of business analytics, creativity, research, and experience; I will work with you to enhance existing cash streams, and to create new ones.

★ WHY I’M IN ECUADOR. A few years ago I followed my dreams, handed in my resignation at a large, multi-specialty clinic where I had a very good job managing high-value tech projects, and moved with my wife to South America. I am currently working out of my office here in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador (I love the view from my office!)  I am now doing freelance work full-time, providing services and assistance to businesses in North America remotely.

My new city, Cuenca is great!  Prices are good, people are friendly, and the streets are safe!  I use Cuenca’s great new fiber-optic infrastructure, have great technology, and I’m in the same time zone as New York.

★ ACHIEVEMENTS. I suspect everyone reading this has done some amazing things.  Here are some of mine . . .

MY HAPPIEST PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE:
✔ Moving from a career in Industrial Operations to Systems Analysis to Project Management.
✔ Marrying the most amazing lady ever!
✔ Earning an MBA in the evenings over 4 years while simultaneously holding a full-time job, remodeling our 4000 sq. ft. home in Portland, and helping my wife start an Oregon State Certified Day Care.
✔ Cycling the entire Oregon Coast.
✔ Taking a Semester Abroad in France where I studied International Business and Negotiation at the Ecole de Management of Euromed Marseille.
✔ Summiting most of the major peaks in the Pacific Northwest including the tallest, Mt. Rainier.
✔ Living for extended periods in a number of countries including Japan, the US, Canada, and now Ecuador.
✔ Earning my Project Management Professional Certification (requires 4,500 documented hours leading and directing projects before applying to take the test).
✔ Owning and cruising sailboats in various parts of the Oregon, California, and Washington State.
✔ Mastering the art of “working from anywhere”.
